The City of Preston has three city parks; Two Good Park, Peppermint Park, and Westside Park. Each park has playground equipment and benches for sitting. Two Good Park and Westside Park each have shelters and picnic tables along with restroom facilities. Tennis courts, volleyball nets, and horseshoe pits are available at Westside Park.

The Copper Creek Trail is available for walking or jogging. It is located on the north side of town and goes behind the industrial park. It has benches along the path and a gazebo in the ending loop.

Plum River Golf Course is located north of Preston. It is a public golf course with season passes available. Telephone: 563-689-4653
